Concentration in Marriage and Family
The Marriage and Family concentration equips students with the knowledge and skills, from a Christian worldview perspective, to understand and support individuals and families across the lifespan. This concentration emphasizes the psychological and relational dynamics of child development, adolescence, and family systems, while also addressing conflict management and contemporary issues in marriage and family life. It provides both a theoretical and applied foundation for students who are interested in pursuing graduate studies in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) or related counseling fields. Graduates are prepared to serve in community agencies, family support programs, churches, and other settings that promote healthy relationships and family well-being.
