Catalog Year Assignment
The student's catalog year defines the program1 requirements to obtain a degree from APU Global. Students must follow the policies and procedures in the catalog year they are assigned. The following regulations govern initial catalog year assignment and subsequent changes:
- Students are assigned to the catalog that is current at the time of their initial enrollment at APU Global.
- Students are reassigned to the catalog that is current at the time of any subsequent readmission to APU Global.
- Students may also request to be voluntarily reassigned to the current catalog year by submitting a Change of Major form (undergraduate) or Change of Program form (graduate). Students are encouraged to confer with their success coach in order to understand the full implications of a voluntary catalog year reassignment before requesting a change.
- Students who change their major are reassigned to the catalog that is current at the time they begin their new major.
- Changes to catalog year assignments due to readmission, voluntary reassignment, or change of major are not reversible.
